Overview

AsterDEX is an on-chain perpetuals DEX with self-custodial trading across multiple chains (BNB Chain, Ethereum, Arbitrum). Sferica integrates AsterDEX through two connectors — Aster Futures (perpetuals, including tokenized stock perpetuals like AAPL and TSLA alongside the crypto majors) and Aster Spot. You generate normal API key + secret from AsterDEX and paste them into the matching Sferica connector. Funds remain in your wallet at all times.

Setup in 3 Steps

Generate AsterDEX API credentials
In your AsterDEX account, open API Management and create a new API key. AsterDEX returns a standard API key and secret — not a wallet private key. The secret is shown only once at creation, so copy it immediately. Your funds stay in your wallet; the API credentials only authorise Sferica to sign orders on your behalf.

Create the AsterDEX connector in Sferica
In your Sferica dashboard, open TradingView Connector Configurations and create a new connector with the matching AsterDEX variant — Aster Spot or Aster Futures. Paste the API key and secret. Sferica returns a unique pointer string that links your TradingView alerts to this AsterDEX account.

Create the TradingView alert
Open a Sferica strategy detail page, click through to the chart on TradingView, and create an alert. Use the alert message structure documented in "Setting Up TradingView Alerts" and include the pointer from step 2 — that's what routes the alert through Sferica to your AsterDEX account. Once saved, every alert executes automatically.

Yes. AsterDEX runs on-chain across BNB Chain, Ethereum, and Arbitrum. Your funds stay in your wallet — Sferica only signs orders via the API credentials you generated.

What credentials does Sferica need — API key or wallet private key?

Standard API key and secret only. You generate them inside the AsterDEX account dashboard. Sferica does not need (and should not receive) your master wallet private key.
