Overview

OANDA is a long-standing regulated forex and CFD broker with operations in the US, UK, Australia, and Singapore. Sferica integrates OANDA through Tickerly so you can run TradingView-driven strategies on major and exotic forex pairs, indices, and commodity CFDs. Position sizing in lots is computed by Sferica from your account balance — no manual conversion needed.

Setup in 3 Steps

1. Generate OANDA API credentials

   Sign into your OANDA account and open the Manage API Access section to generate a v20 REST API personal access token. Separately, note your OANDA Account ID — a 17-character identifier in the format 001-001-12345678-001, shown in your account summary. If you have more than one OANDA account (live + demo, or multi-currency), make sure you grab the ID of the account you actually want Sferica to trade on.

2. Create the OANDA connector in Sferica

   In your Sferica dashboard, open TradingView Connector Configurations and create a new connector with OANDA selected. Paste the v20 token into the secret field and the Account ID into the account-name field. Sferica returns a unique pointer string that links your TradingView alerts to this OANDA account.

3. Create the TradingView alert

   Open a Sferica strategy detail page, click through to the chart on TradingView, and create an alert. Use the alert message structure documented in "Setting Up TradingView Alerts" and include the pointer from step 2 — that's what routes the alert through Sferica to your OANDA account. Once saved, every alert executes automatically.
