Overview

Capital.com is an EU-regulated CFD broker covering forex, indices, commodities, and individual shares. Sferica connects Capital.com through Tickerly, enabling TradingView-driven strategy automation across thousands of instruments. Spread-based CFD pricing means tighter execution than most brokers; Sferica handles the mechanics so you focus on strategy selection and risk sizing.

Key Features

  • Thousands of CFD instruments (forex, indices, shares, crypto)

  • EU-regulated counterparty

  • TradingView alert automation

  • Risk-managed position sizing in Sferica

  • Live performance tracking on Sferica leaderboard

Setup in 3 Steps

  1. Generate Capital.com API credentials

In your Capital.com web app, open Settings → API integrations and generate a new API key. Capital.com asks you to set a custom API password during creation — choose one and save it (it is not the same as your account login password). You also need your Account ID: from Settings → Accounts, copy the identifier of the specific account you want Sferica to trade on (most users have a live and a demo account; pick the right one). All three values — API key, API password, and Account ID — go into the Sferica connector in step 2.

  2. Create the Capital.com connector in Sferica

In your Sferica dashboard, open TradingView Connector Configurations and create a new connector with Capital.com selected. Paste the API key, the custom API password, and the Account ID into the matching fields. Sferica returns a unique pointer string that links your TradingView alerts to this Capital.com account.

  3. Create the TradingView alert

Open a Sferica strategy detail page, click through to the chart on TradingView, and create an alert. Use the alert message structure documented in "Setting Up TradingView Alerts" and include the pointer from step 2 — that's what routes the alert through Sferica to your Capital.com account. Once saved, every alert executes automatically.
