Overview

KuCoin offers some of the broadest altcoin coverage among global crypto exchanges. Sferica connects KuCoin via Tickerly through two separate connectors — KuCoin Spot and KuCoin Futures (USDT-margined perpetuals) — so you can deploy rules-based strategies on hundreds of pairs including small-cap altcoins not available elsewhere. Trades stream back to Sferica for live PnL tracking.

Setup in 3 Steps

1. Generate KuCoin API credentials

   In KuCoin API Management, create a trade-only key — keep withdrawals disabled. Both KuCoin Spot and KuCoin Futures connectors take the same three credentials: API key, secret, and the passphrase you set when creating the key. Spot and Futures use separate API panels on KuCoin, so if you plan to run both, generate two separate keys (each with its own passphrase).

2. Create the KuCoin connector in Sferica

   In your Sferica dashboard, open TradingView Connector Configurations and create a new connector with the matching KuCoin variant — KuCoin Spot or KuCoin Futures. Paste the API key, secret, and passphrase you generated in step 1 (both variants take the same three fields). Sferica returns a unique pointer string that links your TradingView alerts to this KuCoin account.

3. Create the TradingView alert

   Open a Sferica strategy detail page, click through to the chart on TradingView, and create an alert. Use the alert message structure documented in "Setting Up TradingView Alerts" and include the pointer from step 2 — that's what routes the alert through Sferica to your KuCoin account. Once saved, every alert executes automatically.
