Non-Custodial DEX

Overview

Hyperliquid is a high-performance on-chain perpetuals DEX. Sferica connects to Hyperliquid through Tickerly using your wallet API keys, so funds never leave your custody. Order placement uses Hyperliquid native order types with sub-second execution. Ideal for traders who want exchange-grade speed with DEX self-custody.

Key Features

  • Non-custodial — your wallet, your keys

  • Sub-second order execution on perpetuals

  • TradingView alert automation

  • Native Hyperliquid order types (market, limit, post-only)

  • No KYC required for trading

Setup in 3 Steps

  1. Generate Hyperliquid API wallet credentials

In your Hyperliquid app, open the API section and create a new API wallet (also called an agent wallet). Hyperliquid generates a separate signing wallet whose private key you authorise to act on behalf of your master account. Copy two values: the API wallet private key AND your master wallet address (the public 0x… address that actually holds your funds). The master wallet's own private key is never required and must not be shared.

  2. Create the Hyperliquid connector in Sferica

In your Sferica dashboard, open TradingView Connector Configurations and create a new connector with Hyperliquid selected. Paste the API wallet private key into the secret field and your master wallet address into the wallet-address field. Sferica returns a unique pointer string that links your TradingView alerts to this Hyperliquid account. The API wallet signs orders; the master address is used to query positions and balances.

  3. Create the TradingView alert

Open a Sferica strategy detail page, click through to the chart on TradingView, and create an alert. Use the alert message structure documented in "Setting Up TradingView Alerts" and include the pointer from step 2 — that's what routes the alert through Sferica to your Hyperliquid account. Once saved, every alert executes automatically.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Hyperliquid non-custodial?

Yes. Hyperliquid runs on its own L1 and you sign orders with your wallet. Sferica never holds your funds.

Do I need KYC?

No. Hyperliquid does not require KYC for trading.

What order types are supported?

Market, limit, and post-only orders are all routable via Sferica.

Why does the connector ask for two things — a private key and a wallet address?

Hyperliquid separates authorization from custody. The API wallet private key signs orders; the master wallet address holds the funds. Sferica needs both: the address identifies which account to trade on, the API wallet key submits orders. The master wallet private key is never required.
