Overview

OKX is one of the largest crypto derivatives exchanges by daily volume. Sferica integrates OKX Futures through Tickerly, supporting USDT-margined perpetuals with full order-type coverage and leverage controls. The connector handles cross and isolated margin, hedge or one-way position mode, and reduce-only flags per Sferica strategy configuration.

Setup in 3 Steps

1. Generate OKX API credentials

   In OKX, open Account → API and create a new V5 API key with Trade permission for Perpetual Futures. Keep Withdraw off. OKX requires you to set a custom passphrase when creating the key — pick one and save it (this is separate from your account password). At the end you receive three values: API key, secret key, and passphrase. The secret displays only once.

2. Create the OKX connector in Sferica

   In your Sferica dashboard, open TradingView Connector Configurations and create a new connector with OKX Futures selected. Paste the API key, secret, and passphrase. Sferica returns a unique pointer string that links your TradingView alerts to this OKX account.

3. Create the TradingView alert

   Open a Sferica strategy detail page, click through to the chart on TradingView, and create an alert. Use the alert message structure documented in "Setting Up TradingView Alerts" and include the pointer from step 2 — that's what routes the alert through Sferica to your OKX account. Once saved, every alert executes automatically.
